Original Apple-1 Goes Up for Auction

Have an actress 1000000 dollars and an interest in vintage tech? Information technology's your lucky twenty-four hour period. An former-school Apple-ane—AKA the first Apple computer—is at present on auction. Apple fans know this doesn't happen often, so if you're a serious tech collector with money, you better grab your wallet.

The 'Celebration' Apple-1 on the auction cake "is extremely rare not only because of the scarcity of Apple-i computers, merely according to Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder of Apple Estimator, no known PCB boards of this type had ever been sold to the public," the listing reads. "At this fourth dimension, this is the but known Apple-1 to show the signs of starting out as a blank original-run board and not role of the two known production runs, then this board appears to be unique from all other known Apple-1 boards."

The coveted model is currently sitting at U.s.a.$270,000 with half-dozen days left to become in the auction, with all the benefits going to the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Arizona. That's a pretty sweetness bargain for this model, considering it's worth an estimated US$1 million, according to Charitybuzz.
